As I was walking by, the smell of barbeque wafted from the nearby restaurant, luring me in. There was also a larger-than-life construction style orange sign that said "BBQ TODAY" in case my nose wasn't working. Sure, appeal to multiple senses-you got me! I enjoyed the pulled pork and baked beans, both were flavorful and cooked perfectly. My wife had the brisket which was also yummy. Drinks are self-serve from a soda machine or adult beverages you get at the counter. Customer service is fantastic. People were pleasant, quick and friendly when asked for recommendations. The nice young girl at the cash register has a darling personality and makes everyone feel welcome. I'm not sure if this is a family run place, but it certainly has that feel. I'll be back!

We tried Sugarfire on Washington in St. Louis. It's cafeteria style, you order at the kitchen counter then search for a table. 6 bottles of bbq sauces, roll of paper towels. They were out of white bread but had lots of cornbread to buy. We ordered family style so our group of 3 could try/share all the food. We had the brisket, pulled pork, ribs. We had the Cole slaw, beans, sauteed veggies, potato salad, & Mac & Cheese sides. Enjoyed all the sides, the veggies were southern style slow braised. Loved the brisket and pulled pork. We had two different ends of rib racks and 1 was dry & chewy lean. The other was juicy, tender and delicious. Overall the bbq was great we loved the St. Louie sweet and the coffee sauces the most. The bbq was good comfort food.

First time to St Louis and stayed right near this location so we got lucky! Everything was amazing! Meat daddy 3 meat combo recommended by the amazing staff. Let me start there because the customer service, attention and conversation was key! They were engaging, asked what we liked and had samples. It was a highlight of the experience and is by far a part of the 5 star experience! Sliced brisket, burnt ends and ribs, side of cucumber salad and fries. Free sliced bread, pickles, onions and peppers to take. Huge variety of sauces. Side of pimento cheese, thanks to their amazing staff listening to me trying to decide what to order! Burnt ends were our favorite! But everything else was a close 2nd, 3rd etc. I love that the meat all comes dry with sauce on the side so we can sample them all. I love the white Alabama and the coffee bbq. TSA too them but was worth buying to support either way, they were that good!!!! No way I would go back to St. Louis and not stop by, it is a that good. For sure getting that PBLT next time. Loved the whole vibe of the restaurant and the staff on a warm Saturday afternoon. Thanks for a great meal and experience.
